Midweek Magnolia Midway Reminder - Shaped Card

Happy Wednesday, Friends! It’s time again for another Midway Reminder for Midweek Magnolias Shaped Card challenge going on until next Tuesday. You have a whole week to make a card that is not square or rectangle. So get crafting and join us for a chance to win a Mystery Prize from Magnolia Sweden.

My shape card is a Seashell and what better Magnolia stamp to use than this cutie, “Tilda on the Beach” from the new Sea Breeze collection. Check out the Magnolia-licious store for new stamps and dies, my favorite place to shop.

I cut the card shape with my Cameo and used Maja Designs paper for the beveled edge over my Bazzill card stock. I kept the card simple so the shape shows through using a tag with ribbons, some flowers, and a flourish die. I also colored Tilda with Copics using the no-lines technique.

Here are some close ups of the elements of my card.

This is the flower I made with CREAlies Creative Flowers die No. 23. I love to make my own embellishments when I have time.

Here’s a close up of Tilda. I was having a little bit of a sticky challenge with my E11 Copic and changed the tip midstream during coloring so some of the color is a little blotchy.

Supplies:
Stamps – Magnolia: Tilda on the Beach and Ocean Map
Dies – Magnolia: So Wrapped Tilda Lace Folded Tag, Spellbinders: Scallop frame and Fantastic Flourish, CREAlies: Creative Flowers No. 23, Silhouette Cameo: Seashell by Joel Pilcher
Ribbon/Lace – WOC: Vintage Seam Binding, Eyelet Lace
Flowers – Magnolia, LLC, and Handmade with CREAlies die
Other – Michael’s: Pearl, BoBunny: Sea Star charm
Copic Colors – Skin: E11, E00, E000, R20, R30, Apparel: BG57, BG53, B00, R89, R85, R83, R81, Hair: E25, YR23, Y21, Water: B34, B00, B0000
Ink – Memento: Pink, Distress Ink: Brushed Corduroy, Broken China, Spun Silk

I hope my card inspires you to join us with a shaped card of your own at Midweek Magnolias. Have a great week!

Hugz,
