Magnolia-licious Birthday Challenge

Hello, Friends. It’s time again for another new challenge at Magnolia-licious. This time our theme is…

BIRTHDAYS!

We just celebrated two birthdays during the Memorial Holiday weekend. One was for my grandson who turns 3 tomorrow. He is growing so fast.

My card for the challenge features “Sweet Tilda with Balloon” from the new Animals of the Year collection. She is too cute and perfect for that Birthday card with her balloon.

I colored Tilda with Copics and added a fun musical score die cut from Memory Box to signify singing the “Happy Birthday” song.

I kept my card simple with a few flowers, lace, sentiment and ribbon bow.

Here’s a close up of Tilda.

Magnolia-licious "W"ednesday

Happy “W”ednesday, Friends! It’s time for a new “W”ednesday post at Magnolia-licious. These cards and projects feature the stamp lines Wee Stamps, Wild Rose Studio, Penny Black, and Candibeans now carried in the Magnolia-licious store

My card today features a Candibean stamp called Penny’s Dandelion Shower. This is such a sweet stamp, although, I am not a fan of dandelions. LOL

I colored my image with Copics. For the dandelions I used some yellow dots as the seed then I traced the tendrils with my glue pen and sprinkled glamour dust on them. It came out fabulous.

The design papers are from Maja Design Life in the Country collection along with Bazzill cardstock. I added some fuzzy green twine, flowers, butterflies and lace to finish it off.

Magnolia-licious - Sunny Yellows

Hello, Friends. I’ve been away for a while with some urgent family business. So now I’m getting back into the swing of crafting again. I’ve missed it so much over the last month.

I hope all of you “Mommies” out in blogland had a wonderful Mother’s Day. Hubby and I spent a quiet evening at home in our newly finished Rec-room playing billiards. He wins most of the time as long as he doesn't scratch. LOL

Anyhoo…I can’t wait to share what I made for our new challenge at Magnolia-licious. This time our theme is…

Sunny Yellows

We just got 8 inches of Spring Snow this weekend so we have not seen much sunny yellows the last several days. The snow won't last long but as it has already started melting it makes for a muddy mess around the ranch.

My card for the challenge features “Aquarius Tilda” from the new Zodiac collection. I colored her with Copics and sprinkled Aged Ivory Frantage in two corners of her frame.

My designer papers are from the new Pion Design Shoreline Treasures collection. These are subtle sandy colored patterns with that hint of vintage style.

I adorned my card with some pretty lace, satin ribbon, die cuts, flowers and a darling heart seal.

Leave us a comment on any of the DT’s blogs and/or the Challenge blog for a chance to win a weekly prize. The winner is announced every week during the “W”ednesday post.

Come and join us for the challenge and you will have a chance to win a Surprise from the Magnolia-licious store.
