"W"ednesday at Magnolia-licious

Happy “W”ednesday, Friends! It’s my turn this week to share a “W”ednesday post on the Magnolia-licious Challenge Blog. These cards and projects feature the stamp lines Wee Stamps, Wild Rose Studio, Penny Black, and Candibeans carried in the Magnolia-licious store.

My card today features a Wee Stamp called Wyanet (Beautiful). I colored my image with Copics and sponged around my image with SU Bashful Blue ink.

My designer papers are from Maja Design Fika collection. I added some die cuts that are perfect for my image such as the Memory Box Butterfly and Flowers and the Magnolia Feathers die. There is lots of distressing for texture with some flowers and a layered ribbon bow.

Here’s a close up of my Wee Stamp. She is so cute.

Don’t forget to leave me a comment so that you can be entered for a chance to win the weekly Comment Prize from the Magnolia-licious store.

Thank you so much for stopping by today.

Hugz,

Hello, Friends. This post is a bit out of the ordinary for me as it has nothing to do with my DT responsibilities.

I am posting a card for FUN! What!?!...you say? LOL Well, I’ve been on vacation this week and started coloring a new image I purchased a couple weeks ago. I’ve wanted to color this cute “My-Besties Designs - Blue Jean Baby” and today was that day.

I used some of my Maja Design Vintage Autumn Basics papers from last fall to dress up my card and coordinate with my Copic colors on my image. She is soooo darn cute.

Magnolia-licious Challenge - Animals and/or Accessories

Happy Tuesday, Friends. We have another new challenge for you at Magnolia-licious. This time our theme is…

Animals and/or Accessories Stamps Only

So that means we are looking for cards/projects that do not have a character stamp on them. This challenge is all about those cute animal, accessory or background stamps.

For this challenge I thought it would be fun to create another box card using the new strawberry stamp from the Summer Fruits Kit of Pink Lemonade collection. My designer papers are from Doodlebug Design and cardstock is Bazzill. I used the Strawberry Basket box card from SVGcuts and I replaced the cut strawberries for the Magnolia stamp. It’s the perfect size for the SVG files.

I added extra die cuts for interest, some rosebuds and a butterfly punch.

I finished off the box with some lace, a vintage seam binding bow, and Magnolia “Hello Sunshine” sentiment.

Here's another shot of all the pretties in this basket. It does fold flat to fit in an envelope. This card is for someone special as a "Thank you" for a gift I recently received.

Leave us a comment on any of the DT’s blogs and/or the Challenge blog for a chance to win a weekly prize. The winner is announced every week during the “W”ednesday post.

Come and join us for the challenge and you may have a chance to win a Surprise from the Magnolia-licious store.

Christmas in July at Magnolia-licious

Happy Tuesday, Friends. We have another new challenge for you at Magnolia-licious. This time our theme is…

Christmas in July!

It is so HOT this week, in the upper nineties, that I would love to have some cool weather.

My Christmas card for the challenge features “Peaceful Tilda” from the 2013 Winter Wonderland collection. My designer papers are from Fancy Pants and cardstock is Bazzill. I used a lot of glitter on my card elements. The card is a pop up gift card holder. I've wanted to make one of these so I decided a Christmas theme is the perfect occasion. Check out the tutorial on Splitcoaststampers. I easily modified the dimensions for a square card.

Here’s the card when you open it. I added a closure strap so that it lies flat in an envelope.

Here’s a close up of Tilda. I colored her with Copics and used a little Gold stickles on her wings and halo.

Leave us a comment on any of the DT’s blogs and/or the Challenge blog for a chance to win a weekly prize. The winner is announced every week during the “W”ednesday post.
